This is where it started.

The first production run of Riverskate freestyle whitewater sup boards arrived with the fin boxes installed in reverse, at the nose instead of the tail.

At first, it looked like a mistake.

But instead of scrapping them, these boards became the foundation of something new.

A whitewater platform for you to mod

Fakies are structurally perfect Riverskates, whether you're paddling them finless (as many of us do) or riding them "fakie." 

But more importantly, they are an open platform for you to experiment, modify, and push the design to best fit your riding style and whitewater realm

What is Riverskate?

A new category: freestyle whitewater SUP, with patent pending grab wings that enable you to ride a much lower volume board. 

• Cartwheel in eddylines and holes
• Surf small or large features
• Run vertical drops with control
• Paddle standing or kneeling (C1-style)
• Optional outfitting (sold separately) enables you to convert it to a C-1 or kayak and roll it. 

Design Philosophy

Whitewater SUP has long been dominated by high-volume surface designs.

Riverskate takes a different approach.

Low-volume. Performance-oriented. Inspired by freestyle kayaking, slalom, and squirt boating.

The result is a board that engages with the river, not just floats over it.

Fakie boards are the entry point into Flow Lab.

• Best for paddlers up to ~175 lbs

Hovercraft Fakie 150L (Medium / Large)

• 7 cm thick · 7’6” × 33”
• Best for paddlers up to ~225 lbs*
